　　连续四年红点奖得主、清庭创办人暨创意总监石大宇继荣获众多国际奖项的“椅君子”、“椅琴剑”之后，将根植于华人文化的环保设计思维进一步演绎，推出竹系列新作“椅刚柔”、“桌八仙”、“赞竹茶盘”、“月竹灯”。

　　此展览完整地呈现石大宇的竹制家具作品及系列陶瓷壶杯组，与设计爱好者分享其对于文化传承与创新的信念。

　　史上第一张可堆叠的全竹制圈椅“椅刚柔”，是石大宇以世界坐具设计经典“明式圈椅”为题，以当代设计的精髓“可持续性”、“环保”、“减碳”及符合当代实用性和审美为改良准则，对应材料、结构、工法、生产方式、运输等环节，改进功能及舒适度，同时又精简设计、运用榫卯结构，使之符合现代生活，重新拾回属于我国明清家具以“简、厚、精、雅”的设计风格，企图将根植于华人文化的设计思维重新定位和发扬光大。

　　“桌八仙”灵感来自中国经典家具“八仙桌”，过往常由贵重的硬实木制成，但现今许多树种已濒临灭绝，“桌八仙”沿用“八仙桌”的榫卯结构，毋需其他金属或塑料作为接合部件，但创新地采用竹材替代硬实木，竹是一个对于中国人而言富含文化情感、且环保低碳的材质；在桌脚的部份，石大宇将富有弹性及韧性的竹条，转化为硬实木般的刚性，以对应榫卯工艺对材质的要求，并达到桌子所需的稳定性。

　　荣获2012德國紅點產品設計獎的“贊竹茶盤”，缔造史上中式功夫茶盤第一次獲得该奖项的纪录，灵感来自云南香格里拉的藏族生活方式，石大宇以象徵柴薪的竹制小三角柱构成茶盘中央的滤水器，它们会因为过多水量的注入而充满生机、带有警惕作用地上下浮动，既可作为注水量的提示，也创造了错落有致的美感。受当地建筑屋顶的排水沟槽造型启发，石大宇以棉线与黑陶锤代替传统茶盘的塑料排水管，排水时以黑陶锤牵引顺棉线而下，降至底部的接水罐深处，在视觉上形成彷若结冰的水柱，一并解决了塑料水管不雅和排水的噪音问题。

　　Multi awards winner Jeff Dayu Shi brings the eco-friendly design concepts, which are rooted in Chinese culture, into another round of revolution. This exhibition includes Shi’s Chair Jun Zi and Chair Qin Jian, both highly recognized by international design awards such as the Red Dot. Moreover, Shi’s new endeavors, Chair Gang Rou, Zhuo Ba Xian (table), Praise of Bamboo Tea Tray Set, Bamboo Moonlight Lamp are all encompassed in it. Founder and creative director for Dragonfly Design Center, Shi shares with design lovers his thoughts on culture, heritage and innovation by presenting the complete collection of his bamboo designs and porcelain teapot sets in the Dragonfly concept store.

椅君子

　　A contemporary improvement for the classic design “horseshoe armchair”, Chair Gang Rou is the first purely bamboo-made, stackable horseshoe armchair ever. Based on the principles of sustainability, contemporary practicality and aesthetics, comfort and function are immensely enhanced by utilizing bamboo slats as the main material. It provides solutions to challenges such as: realizing bamboo’s metal-like malleability; flexibility, resilience and rigidity of bamboo slats simultaneously shown in a single component; making the seat, composed of bamboo slats differing in both lengths and thickness, a same comfortable substitute for stuffed cushions.

　　
圆满阴阳壶杯组

　　Zhuo Ba Xian inspired by the Chinese classical furniture “Ba Xian Table” that in the past was made of various types of hardwood, some of which are now on the verge of extinction. It applies the latter’s structure of mortise and tenon joinery while innovatively employing bamboo as material. Each table leg, composed of flexible bamboo slats, is consolidated with diaphragm-like mechanisms on equally divided sections, so as to strengthen them into high rigidity as hardwood does. Hence mortise and tenon joinery can be well-roundedly fused with bamboo, a comparatively new material, solution and technology for such an old, traditional craft.

　　Praise of Bamboo Tea Tray Set is the winner of the red dot award: product design 2012, and is also the first of its kind to receive the prize. Traditional tea trays drain water through mechanical drilled holes, and the aesthetically awkward plastic drainage pipe produces noises when water goes through. Contrarily, inspired by how Tibetans stack firewood, the bamboo triangular sticks on the tray act as a filter and an indicator of drainage efficiency. They will float up vertically and randomly to indicate the overflow possibility. Besides, inspired by the rooftop drainage system of Tibetan architecture, the drainage gutter plus the cotton thread replaces the plastic pipe, forms a glassy water pillar when water goes down, and gathers it to the bucket without noise.
