2010年“清华国际艺术•设计学术月”活动
“清华国际艺术·设计学术月”是美术学院倾力推出的学术品牌，每年举办一次，每届聘请国际艺术设计领域和艺术领域最具影响力、最权威的专家学者举行学术报告。第一届学术月于2009年10月至11月举办，共有3000余人次参加了学术讲座和交流，127万新闻点击率，受到社会广泛关注并给予很好的评价，在国内外艺术设计界产生了很大影响。
第二届“清华国际艺术·设计学术月”将于2010年10月14日至11月13日在清华大学美术学院召开。本届学术月的主题是“交叉学科的创新”。本次活动将由清华大学美术学院、清华大学艺术与科学研究中心共同举办，是一次面向社会、相关教育部门、研究机构及企业的学术活动。活动内容包括两部分，一是清华大学艺术与科学研究中心新成立的三个研究所，即设计战略与原型创新研究所、设计管理研究所、可持续设计研究所，将邀请国际艺术与设计领域的8位著名设计师及专家学者亲赴清华大学，举办系列主题讲座；二是将分别在三个研究所内举行workshop活动。学术月将面向社会与清华学子，进行学术交流与探讨，为大家带来国际最先进的艺术设计理念与方法，共同促进艺术设计的创新与发展，确立交叉学科研究及创新领域的引领性作用。
